DreamStation 12V Power Adapter for C-100 & Freedom CPAP Travel Battery Packs

I ordered the "DreamStation 12V Power Adapter for C-100 & Freedom CPAP Travel Battery Packs" from the cpap.com website. A different cord was sent with another part name and that does *not* have the in-line inverter required to connect the BPS C-100 to a DreamStation2. When I reached customer service in an online chat, I was told that the adaptor I purchased is no longer available through cpap.com, and to send the other part back. They did return my purchase amount, but I did not receive a return authorization number or a post paid label to correct their mistake.

Although I haven't traveled during the pandemic, I hope to be able to resume international travel at some point when it is safe to do so. So, I purchased this Power Adapter for the Philips Respironics DreamStation and the Freedom Battery for when that time arrives. It will also be useful in the event of a power failure or rolling blackout in my neighborhood. I tested the adapter using the dual Freedom Battery configuration connected to the DreamStation and humidifier and it appears to work well.

It's a great device to have on hand for when power goes out of travelling.

I got a new CPAP machine after 9 years and the technology changed which doubled the electrical requirements. This made my $200+ Freedom battery into an anchor. This new adapter converted the power to the correct voltage (with corresponding lower use time) and allowing me to use it during power outages. I bought the Battery three years ago and have been happy with it. I look forward to a quantum leap in battery capacity. until then this freedom battery is the way to go. I am ALWAYS sure to use a Surge Protector to protect my investment (battery ($200 + CPAP $900). Also, a Sine Wave UPS may sound redundant but it assures clean electricity.

I received the adaptor and tried it out to make sure it worked before a power outage occurred and it worked as it should. Fit my machine and Freedom battery perfect. No doubt I'll trust it when I do need it.

The adaptor works as expected with the freedom battery and Dreamstation. It is a necessity and the fan on the adaptor gives me a little more peace of mind in case the adaptor over heats

Worked great with the freedom battery and my dreamstation. Only complaint it the green led light on it can’t be turned off and stayed lit all night.

For use when we loose power, normally during ice storms.

Works great with the battery pac that I bought for my Dream Sleeper CPAP machine. Very easily connected to batter and Sleep machine.

Worked perfectly between the Freedom battery and my DreamStation without the humidifier.
