What the difference between a SlimLine hose and a ClimateLineAir hose?

SlimLine and ClimateLineAir are both CPAP hoses made by ResMed. They are compatible with AirSense and AirCurve machines.

SlimLine Hoses: This is a line of 15mm standard hoses that are lighter and less bulky than traditional 22mm hoses. These are great if you want a simple, flexible tube, but because it isn’t heated, you may notice some water build-up when you're in a cooler environment or have your air conditioner running cold. SlimLine hoses are universally compatible with all AirSense and AirCurve machines.

ClimateLineAir Hoses: A line of heated hoses that work with your machine’s Climate Control feature to maintain a stable air temperature and humidity setting. These are great for preventing rainout and eliminating dryness. There are three types of ClimateLineAir hoses: ClimateLine for AirSeries 10, ClimateLine for AirSeries 11, and ClimateLine for S9.
