    Important Tips

    Manufacturer's Warranty

This device is sold with a 5-year standard warranty. The 5-year warranty does not cover the Sieve Bed or the Battery. Both of those parts come with a 1-year standard warranty, and with regular use, will need to be serviced once a year.

OPEN FLAME WARNING: As oxygen supports combustion, a person should refrain from smoking, using a lighter or matches, or being anywhere near an open flame as this can lead to injury or death.

If using the concentrator while plugged in, make sure the device is securely plugged into the wall before turning on. There is a small chance of creating a spark if the device is on when plugging into the wall. Such a spark can support combustion, and it could also damage the concentrator itself. For this reason, take extra precautions when plugging the device into an outlet.

WATER / LIQUIDS WARNING: The concentrator is an electronic device and is not waterproof or water resistant. Do not expose the device to water as this can result in failure or loss of the concentrator.

    Internal Battery Charging Times

Charging the battery fully before the first use is strongly recommended. It can take 4 hours to charge the internal battery completely.

    Instructions for First Use

    1. Gently connect the nasal cannula to the oxygen port near the top of the device.
    2. Press and hold the power button to start the concentrator.
    3. Use the plus or minus buttons to select the device setting prescribed by a medical professional. It's important to not increase or decrease this setting from the prescribed amount, as it can be dangerous. Once the flow rate has been set, it will not need to be set again.
    4. Position the cannula on the face and slide the tubing over the ears.
    5. Breathe normally, and the flow should start with each breath.

    Maximum Flow Rate

The maximum flow rate for this device is 4. If a medical professional has prescribed a setting of 5, it will not be possible to provide this level of oxygen with this concentrator. The device has no continuous flow option either, meaning if a medical professional has prescribed continuous flow as part of the treatment plan, a different concentrator would need to be selected.

    Use With CPAP

The only oxygen concentrator for use with a CPAP machine overnight is a continuous flow model, as pulse dose models only deliver oxygen when breathing is detected, and with a CPAP machine, the concentrator can't detect breathing. For this reason, this product cannot be used with a CPAP machine overnight.

    Power Options

    DC Charging Options

The ResMed Mobi comes with a DC charging cable with an adapter to connect the device to a cigarette lighter port on a car or boat. To power the device for off-the-grid use, the Mobi External Battery connects to the concentrator and can power the concentrator for up to 3 additional hours.

    Battery Duration

The length of time the battery lasts depends entirely on factors like flow setting, altitude, and a few other things. Higher settings and a higher altitude will mean the battery will not last as long as it would at lower settings and sea level. As such, we cannot guarantee any specific run time with this device. It is strongly discouraged for a person to reduce the flow rate in order to conserve power, as this can result in injury or death.

    AC Power Supply

The included AC power supply can be used in power outlet voltage settings from 100 up to 240, at 50-60 Hz.
