Aflex, Travel Friendly, Supports Software, Auto Adjusts
Product Overview
The M Series Auto is a small and feature packed CPAP that looks more like a stylish clock radio than a CPAP.
It easily packs away in your carry on luggage, and has an incredible number of high-tech features, including the new A-Flex comfort feature, self-adjusting pressure, and powerful clinical data features, on-board.
The REMstar Auto M Series with A-Flex represents an amazing new chapter in pressure therapy. Not only does it make each breath more comfortable at inhalation and exhalation, the REMstar Auto also adjusts overall therapy to accommodate the patients therapy needs due to changes in lifestyle or progression of disease state.
A-Flex is delivered by our clinically proven auto algorithm that maintains effective therapy at minimal pressures making this combination even better for patients.
A-Flex is a comfort feature built on top of the REMstar Auto algorithm. If breathing events occur, the auto algorithm raises the A-Flex pressure profile to eliminate those events, while simultaneously making sure that pressure never rises to a level thats unnecessarily or uncomfortably high.

Power Options
Universal Power
The M Series Auto operates automatically between 100 - 240v AC. When traveling either inside or outside the USA, there are no switches to switch or fuses to change. The machine will automatically sense what voltage is needed and set itself to run on the power needed.
The user will need to adapt the plug that goes into the wall to fit the style of outlet socket that is being used. This is simply done with a Power Adapter Plug kit. This is the same type of plug adapter that would be used with a hair dryer or an electric shaver.
The M Series Auto comes equipped with a DC plug on the back of the unit. This allows the user to connect the CPAP to an external DC battery source.
Using a Respironics, 12volt DC Power Cord the Remstar Auto M Series can be powered by plugging into a cigarette lighter plug. This is ideal for traveling by car, boat, or recreational vehicle that is equipped with a cigarette lighter plug.
It is recommended that you use a 100 amp hour, 12v DC deep cycle marine battery for operating you CPAP machine when not connected to 110v AC /230v AC.
There are two cables needed to configure the M Series Auto with a Marine Deep Cycle Battery. They fit together to make a connection from the back of the M Series Remstar Auto to the battery clip terminals on the marine battery.
Here are the links to the cables needed to hook up to a marine style battery. Both cables are needed.
The Respironics Battery Pack has been a long standing favorite of our customer’s. It weighs in at 13lbs and can be carried easily with its shoulder strap.
This battery pack will give roughly 26 hours of use, depending on the cpap pressure setting. (Results may vary.)

What Participants liked about the M Series Auto with A-Flex: “Biggest advantage of this unit for me is exhalation relief. My pressure is quite high (12-16), and A-Flex (and C-Flex before it) have been essential to the quality of my treatment.” – Philip B.
A-Flex and C-Flex helped participants exhale comfortably
Data storage and interpretation is reliable and useful
Small and durable for travel or daily use
Beginner friendly
What Participants want improved about this machine: “Data card remains in the unit which is nice, humidifier is too small, noisy - has that [Darth] Vadar sound as I breathe, has a larger footprint on the nightstand.” – Renee A V.
Noisier machine than IntelliPAP according to the majority of participants
Bulky power supply
The backlight on the machine is bright

"Having been on CPAP for six years I have found the move to APAP using the Remstar Auto A Flex a great step forward. The only issue I have with the machine is that it is MUCH noisier than my old F&P fixed pressure CPAP. The noise appears to be air flow only, so I am in the process of working out how to minimise the noise.
Other than the stated Con, all other aspects of the machine are excellent.
Pros: Small
Easy to use
Works as advertised
Well structured menus
Cons: Noise - Airflow
And thanks to CPAP.COM for their great service and support."

"I'm a new user of any CPAP device. On the recommendation of my sleep therapist, I purchased the Remstar M series machine. It works great, and the "A Flex" features make it quite comfortable. I would recommend this device to anyone needing therapy. It also appears to be very well made and durable. Thanks!!"
Respironics vs. Devilbliss

"I ordered this machine because I was beginning to feel claustrophobic with my Devilbliss CPAP. I turned the minimum pressure up to help overcome this feeling of claustrophobia. I found that the Respironics machine was easier to exhale with. It also doesn't seem to heat the incoming air as much as my other CPAP did when no heat is on in the humidifier."
