What sets ResMed CPAP machines apart from other brands?

ResMed CPAP machines are renowned for their innovative features, exceptional performance, and user-friendly designs. Many ResMed devices offer advanced comfort settings like AutoRamp, Auto Start/Stop, and Expiratory Pressure Relief, which help you ease into therapy and maintain optimal treatment throughout the night. Additionally, select models seamlessly integrate with the MyAir mobile app, providing valuable insights and personalized guidance to help you stay on track with your therapy goals.

Do ResMed CPAP machines come with built-in humidifiers?

Yes, all of ResMed's standard CPAP machines feature built-in heated humidifiers, including the popular AirSense and AirCurve series. The only modern machine that does not feature a built-in humidifier is the AirMini travel CPAP device. However, it is compatible with ResMed's HumidX waterless humidification device.

If you like using heated humidity with your ResMed machine, consider adding ClimateLineAir heated tubing to your setup so you can take advantage of the Automatic Climate Control feature, which ensures consistent, comfortable humidification throughout your therapy session.

Are ResMed CPAP machines suitable for travel?

ResMed offers a range of CPAP machines to suit various needs, including travel-friendly options like the AirMini. This compact, lightweight device is designed for easy portability and can be used with a variety of power sources, making it perfect for use on the go. If you frequently travel or simply value the flexibility of a smaller device, ResMed's travel CPAP machines provide the same high-quality therapy as their full-sized counterparts.

Which ResMed CPAP machine is the quietest?

The ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet is currently the quietest CPAP machine on the market, operating at just 27 decibels – similar to a low whisper or rustling leaves.

Do I need a special CPAP mask for my ResMed CPAP machine?

Mask compatibility for ResMed's standard-size machines:

ResMed's standard machines will work with any standard CPAP mask that is compatible with a standard 22mm hose connection. However, they are not compatible with masks designed specifically for the AirMini. Choose the mask type (full face, nasal, nasal pillows, etc.) based on your breathing style and comfort needs.

Mask compatibility for the AirMini travel CPAP:

The AirMini can be used with certain ResMed masks that are specifically designed for the AirMini, or you can use a regular mask and pair it with a Zephair Universal Adapter and an AirMini hose. Keep in mind that regular masks will not be compatible with the AirMini's HumidX waterless humidifier device.
