Any mask will work with any machine, with one important exception. The ResMed AirMini is only compatible with certain ResMed CPAP masks. Compatible masks for the AirMini are as follows:
When considering another CPAP, APAP or BiPAP machine from ResMed or any other manufacturer, mask compatibility extends to all brands. The AirMini uses non-standard tubing to connect the machine to the mask, and is the primary reason why other masks won't work with the AirMini. Despite this issue, many of our customers consider the AirMini to be an excellent machine.
Yes. Federal law requires we have a valid prescription on file before we ship your mask, machine, humidifier, or EPAP therapy, including Provent and Bongo RX. You will also need a prescription to purchase the Nightbalance POSA device.
We provide many easy ways to get your prescription:

Masks should be washed daily with warm water and gentle soap or baby shampoo. Let the mask air dry. Never use antibacterial soap as it will break down the silicone of the mask cushion. Avoid soaps that include lotion which can coat the mask and cause it to lose its seal. A safe cleaner is the Control III Disinfectant CPAP Cleaning Solution. Remember, going to bed with a clean face will improve your seal and protect the lifespan of your mask.
The best time to clean your mask is in the morning after use. This removes the oils left behind from your skin which can reduce the lifespan of your mask. We recommend using Mask Wipes to make daily morning cleaning easy. The mask wipes are made from materials that will not break down your mask.
For customers who want to completely disinfect their mask and accessories, there's an even better option than wipes. The Lumin Mask and Accessories Cleaner uses powerful UV light to disinfect, killing almost all bacteria almost instantly. It's not a cleaner and doesn't scrub or wash anything, but for simple disinfecting the Lumin works great!

Nasal pillow delivery systems offer less contact with the face than either full face or traditional nasal masks. This system works well for those who tend to feel closed in or claustrophobic. Many nasal pillow systems have nothing that cross in front of the bridge of the nose allowing for a clear line of sight for reading or watching TV.
It can be easier to achieve a seal with this system, because there is less for you to adjust and less surface area to create and hold a seal.
Nasal pillow systems may work well for someone with a mustache or beard as the seal occurs only at the nares or nasal opening.
Someone who has a facial mole or scar near or around the nose, may find getting a seal with a traditional nasal mask difficult. Nasal pillows are an option in this circumstance.
Most nasal pillow masks also come with all sizes included to make finding the right size easier.

As a stomach/side sleeper, I have simply been unable to sleep with my nasal mask. Using this mask in combination with breathing strips has made a huge difference. If you're a stomach/side sleeper you need this mask.
Been a user since 2008 and this one is pretty good. Not as comfortable on the head as other nasal pillow masks but seals well and is definitely doable. It broke on me though and I went with the Breeze SleepGear or awhile until it broke (twice). I'm now using the F-P Opus 360 and it is awesome.
best mask and headgear I have used- it does not cause any tenderness in the nares. I sleep on both sides and my stomach and it never moves at night no matter how much I toss and turn. There are no air leaks EVER. I used the rubber band fix (you can google rubber band fix for headrest cpap) and the fit is perfect. The headgear is lighweight, comfortable and very easy to adjust. great product!
This mask is great- I've had it for almost a week now- found a hack online using rubber bands to just get the final seal and it has been leak free since. (Just search headrest rubber band hack online- you'll find it!). I sleep on my side and this is the most comfortable mask that I have had. It's so great to sleep through the night without having to wake up and adjust the nasal pillows!
I have historically liked this mask; it's nice that there are no face straps to worry about. Sometimes the straps have a tendency to slide a bit during the night, but that's probably because my hair is slippery. The noise seems loud to me but my partner does not complain like with the other mask I had (which emitted a high-pitched whistle). The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the nasal pillow part is a bit rigid -- would be nice if it were softer.
I like this one. But there is some design flaw. Water collected in the tube and hard to get out.
Despite its weird looks, this has ended up being the best headgear of the 4 I have owned. I say this because I now have NO leak issues when I change from side to side or from any position. As everyone says, the air blows up instead of out-- the limited space for the air outlet holes does mean that there are fewer holes and thus more outlet noise-- this is of no consequence or issue here but might be for you. The headgear takes more thought to get on right-- if the back is slipping up on your hair it is because you need to let out the top straps, the back needs to come down low enough to be below the bump there-- once I got this right I found this part too did not shift on me thru the night. The size medium mask fits me, I take a small on the Phillips Comfort Lite. I recommend this mask and headgear.
Being a face-down pillow sleeper, I have tried a variety of nasal pillow masks and this is the best for comfort and durability. I use this at home, but not when I travel because it does not disassemble and takes lots of room when traveling.
My first mask was a standard nasal one, which was OK but would not accommodate my stomach sleeping. I ordered this mask and found that not only was I able to move easily into all sleeping positions, but it was more comfortable than the other one. My one concern -- the manufacturer suffered a devastating factory fire and the continuance of this product may be affected. At least I know that I prefer a nasal pillow mask.
Very good
I have tried other nasal pillows but this one from AEIOMED is the most comfortable I have tried, and almost as important it provides mobility to move your head in bed without messing up the air tubes.
When I first started using CPAP over three years ago, it was a nightmare. I tried eight different masks, each one I had the same problem. I use quite a bit of air pressure and the mask's seal would be broken from the pressure and the whistle was more than annoying. I had read some reviews on this nasal mask and the reviews convinced me to try this mask. I was a little concerned because I did not think I wanted anything in my nose. I am so thankful that I tried this mask and my thoughts about the nasal pillow were unfounded. This mask is comfortable, it stays in place and I have had over 3 years of good sleep using this mask. I hope this review gives someone the desire to try this mask. I tell everyone I meet that uses CPAP about this mask.
