Instructions for Filling the Water Chamber
When refilling the water chamber, use distilled water to help prevent mineral build-up. The IntelliPAP 2 water chamber has water level indicators located on the sides and top of the chamber. Do not surpass the specified markings when refilling the chamber, as it may cause water damage.
Sealing Gasket Maintenance
Before each use, examine the sealing gasket surrounding the circumference of the chamber. Ensure the gasket has been put back into place after each cleaning.
No more leaking, fit my machine perfectly and heats to the right temperature!
I purchased my Intellipap 2 with humidifier 13 months ago. In the time I've owned it I've gone through four (4) water tanks for the heater. Each tank eventually developed a water leak at the bottom where the metal heater plate seals against the plastic tank body. The original tank lasted the longest (about 9 months of use). Early ion I purchased a 2nd tank so I could rotate the tanks through cleaning & drying. The 2nd tank lasted all of 6 weeks (3 weeks of use). The third tank lasted 3 months (6 weeks of use). The original tank lasted 13 months (about 11 months of use). The most recent tank purchased (earlier this month) lasted two nights before it sprung a leak in the exact same metal to plastic seal. Horrible design. Fed up with waking up to find my CPAP machine sitting in a puddle of water on my night stand. Pulling my old Intellipap (1) out of my closet (which served me well for several years) so I can stop using the Intellipap 2. Too bad really because the Intellipap 2 has a lot of nice features that aren't available in the intellipap (1). more...
I've owned my Intellipap 2 for just over a year. I love the CPAP machine, but I hate the humidifier! The problem is the seal of the metal plate on the bottom of the water chamber is poorly designed and fails quickly. I've just has my 3rd tank decide to spring a leak at this point and leave my CPAP machine sit-in in a puddle of water on my night stand. I never had this problem with the older Intellipap machine! more...
