Yes. Federal law requires we have a valid prescription on file before we ship your mask, machine, humidifier, or EPAP therapy, including Provent and Bongo RX. You will also need a prescription to purchase the Nightbalance POSA device.
We provide many easy ways to get your prescription:

To care for your humidifier simply empty and clean the water tank each morning. Only distilled water should be used in the humidifier to avoid mineral deposit build up.
Here are some items that can help with caring for your humidifier:
CleanSmart CPAP Disinfectant Spray
Control III Disinfectant CPAP Cleaning Solution - 16 oz Concentrate
Control III Disinfectant CPAP Cleaning Solution - Home Care Kit
Fantastic. Works for about 2-3 nights before you need to refill.
Easy to fill, replace use and clean. The humidified air makes all the difference in preventing dry mouth, throat and nasal passages in the morning. I've used CPAP for years, but this is my first humidifier. I'll never sleep without one again!
fits into the CPAP easily. Easy to fill and clean. Very nice unit.
Not enough water to last 8 hrs.
I love the CPAP + humidifier combo - they are great for travel! The humidifier is a little small; it is dry before morning, and a bit awkward to refill. I think that's the price you pay for such a compact and travel-friendly unit.
Took this little unit on a short trip to test it out for a European vacation in the fall. VERY pleased with the ease of packing it up, light weight, and handy carry case (size of a camera case). Had no problems with attaching the humidifier to the unit. As with all units, you can never get the last drops of water out, but not a problem. Quiet, light weight, it is going to work out wonderfully for my trip.
This is my second humidifier for the Everest 2. The first one lasted about a year, including a good deal of foreign travel. I think the weak link is the small electric pad that the water tray connects with - it gets dirty, is hard to clean anyway, and ultimately fails. The water capacity is much less than my RemStar Pro but I expected that in a travel CPAP. Nonetheless, I have to put the heater on a low number to ensure the water will last through the night. The CPAP is a constant pressure model and does not "breathe" with you as does the RemStar. I find I can transition to either one without difficulty. I like the relatively light weight too.
This humidifier couples directly to the Everest 2 CPAP machine and the humidifier tray removes easily for cleaning and refill. I use it every night. Only problem I have had with the unit is that the plastic lid on the humidifier tray has very easily broken plastic snaps that keep the lid connected to the lower tray. Once these snaps get broken, the tray leaks water around the edges. I had to order a replacement humidifier when my first unit got broken this way during a trip. When unit is unbroken, it works fine, but these plastic latches could be improved.
I purchased the AEIOmed for traveling. The humidifier is not as easy to use or clean as my REMstar's unit. Filling requires the removal of the hose from the machine and is filled through the hose connection on the top of the unit. Taking the humidifier apart is also difficult and I felt at times like I could easily crack the plastic. The base can not be submerged so I didn't feel like I could clean it thoroughly. These are minor issues and the design of the AEIOmed is excellent and it's small footprint makes it very convenient for traveling. Time will tell how the humidifier will wear after multiple cleanings.
A heated humidifier is a must when using it in the cold north of Alaska. It is also great in the dry desert of Idaho. I wish it would hold more water as it must be filled every evening before going to sleep. I haven't experienced any problems with the humidifier attachment for the AEIO Everest 2. I also bought the battery pack when I purchased the machine and humidifier. Since this machine works so well, I will be buying a second complete pack to leave at my work site in Alaska.
Unit fits tightly, works as expected and I no longer have an occasional leak.
The humidifier is small and easily goes into the unit. It ia also easy to clean. The only improvement is the opening is small which requires you to use a small funnel or to take the plastic cover off to fill the reservoir. A small adaptor would be nice.
