Flexi Foam Cushion Insert and Silicone Seal Kit for Zest & Zest Q Nasal CPAP Mask
Zest Nasal Flexi Cushion Silicone Seal Overview
As of January 2010, Fisher and Paykel has improved the FlexiFoam Cushion Insert. The inner foam cushion helps contour the mask and promotes optimal frame alignment. The new design includes a series of ridges on the foam insert. The FlexiFoam cushion uses these cut-outs to help fold over facial features for additional comfort and improves overall seal performance.
Where do I find the size?
The Zest™ cushions are replaceable, but they are not interchangeable and are they not labeled. The cushion size will reflect the size of the nasal mask.

Some CPAP users move to using a full face mask after finding that using a nasal mask along with a chinstrap does not meet their sleep therapy needs. Some CPAP users use a full face mask when suffering from seasonal allergies.

Masks should be washed daily with warm water and gentle soap or baby shampoo. Let the mask air dry. Never use antibacterial soap as it will break down the silicone of the mask cushion. Avoid soaps that include lotion which can coat the mask and cause it to lose its seal. A safe cleaner is the Control III Disinfectant CPAP Cleaning Solution. Remember, going to bed with a clean face will improve your seal and protect the lifespan of your mask.
The best time to clean your mask is in the morning after use. This removes the oils left behind from your skin which can reduce the lifespan of your mask. We recommend using Mask Wipes to make daily morning cleaning easy. The mask wipes are made from materials that will not break down your mask.
For customers who want to completely disinfect their mask and accessories, there's an even better option than wipes. The Lumin Mask and Accessories Cleaner uses powerful UV light to disinfect, killing almost all bacteria almost instantly. It's not a cleaner and doesn't scrub or wash anything, but for simple disinfecting the Lumin works great!

In our experience, most mask cushions begin to deteriorate after about six months of use. The cushion eventually becomes too soft to hold a seal. The headgear straps lose elasticity and must be tightened more and more to get the same quality seal.
We strongly suggest replacing cushions and pillows as soon as they start to soften. Air leaks may reduce the effectiveness of CPAP therapy and headgear that is too tight may cause facial sores at pressure points. In most cases, replacement headgear is available if it is stretched out or the Velcro worn out.

I love my Zest mask and I like having extra seal kits. They fit the mask perfectly. I get up early and I don't want to take the time to wash my mask in the morning. Having an extra set lets me wash the mask in the evening and pop right into bed without having to wait for one to dry. more...
I have been using flex masks and Cpap.com for several years now. I've always been happy with both, till now, although the service is still excellent, the seal and cushion quality seems to have fallen sharply. They won't snap into the mask properly and the cushion is misshapen, I suspect these are not original mfg replacement parts, but rather a generic aftermarket part. more...
I’ve used this mask for over 6 yrs, ordering replacement parts either here or at my neurologist. For some reason, F & P has changed the silicone seal so it’s no longer quiet. I tried 4 different ones ( 2 from here and then went to my neurologist) and they all now sound like there’s a leak. Even tried a brand new mask last week to eliminate all variables and it did it too. My settings are low, but there’s no way anyone with high pressure could use this mask now. My CPAP assistant at the neurologist has contacted the F & P rep to find out why they changed, but I wanted to warn others to hopefully save you the hassle. I now have to switch masks after all these years with a mask that was perfect for my sleep habits. more...
I have the mask and purchased another cushion. Best Mask I have had so far
