    Helps with my snoring but not sleep apnea.

    I was required to get pulmonary clearance for a surgery I had in December. I was diagnosed with mild obstructive sleep apnea and started using CPAP. I have also been told I snore. Looking to get off CPAP I tried the Bongo device. I did another sleep study while using Bongo and it still showed mild OSA. Events per hour were 10 as compared to my first sleep study which was 5. Still mild. I was curious about the effect Bongo had on my snoring when not using CPAP. I used Snorelab app to monitor snoring and the snoring was significantly reduced with the Bongo. I'll use Bongo if I'm traveling with another person so as not to disturb them. Will have to continue CPAP for now.

    A bit expensive for what it is and too much condensation

    I appreciate that this kit comes with many sizes to try and that the back pressure seems to work but it doesn't seem like it should cost as much as it does for how simple the parts are. I also was frustrated that the condensation issue wasn't talked about as a potential issue because waking up with a bunch of water really confused me the first night. I have very mild UARS, so I mostly wanted this to prevent waking a few times a night. But the water or sinus issues seem to wake me up just as much or more as any obstructions to my breathing. I've only used it a few weeks so far though so maybe eventually I'll eventually get used to feeling like my nose is running

    Theravent fan is happy again

    My wife and I mourned the day Theravent nasal patches went off the market. It took a while, but I discovered a great replacement, which I sourced from CPAP. com: Bongo Rx nose valves. I've been using them a week and we're both much happier.
