Gauge Manometer (for pressure measurements)

The gauge manometer confirms that my RESMED 9 CPAP's max pressure is 18 cm H2O and not 20 cm H2O (CPAP) when it was new. Delivery and shipping was excellent!

I bought this specifically to test my DreamWear Full Face mask, as a well known sleep tech posted a video about it losing pressure which was a concern. It was very easy to use the manometer and I can confirm that even when lying down on my side, the manometer showed there was no loss of pressure. I even purposely pressed my hand down hard on the air tube on each side, and still no pressure was lost (I'm on VPAP with pressures of 25/12.

I am more confident in my S9 after purchasing this gauge. It is 7 years old and I know that my set pressure in the S9 is accurate, not high or low!

Seems well made but by nature is a delicate gauge. 30 cm/H????O is only about 1/2 PSI so a drop from a dresser to the floor could change the calibration. The gauge did indicate that the inline bacteria filter I added to my hose dropped the pressure to my mask by 1 cm so I adjusted my CPAP machine to compensate. The price is very high considering the number of times you will likely use it.

It works as described and allowed me to make adjustments to my new mini-travel cpap machine that was set incorrectly. I also used it to check my new home CPAP and found the cm/H2O pressure was about 0.5 cm low...so it might need a little fine tuning or calibration. CPAPs are usually accurate, but some need a bit of calibration tweaking. I think this manometer gauges is great for checking that your CPAP is delivering the exact pressure stated in your prescription vs what the CPAP programmed settings are indicating.
