Rainout, gurgling, and morning dryness can derail therapy. The ClimateLineAir heated tubing helps keep air warm and humidity consistent to minimize condensation while supporting a more comfortable night.

Available for Air Series 10, 11 and S9 series machines, select the proper connection type when adding to cart.

The tube’s built‑in sensor continuously monitors temperature. Paired with a HumidAir heated humidifier, Climate Control can automatically maintain comfort or let you fine‑tune settings in Manual mode.

  • Stop rainout: Integrated heat helps prevent condensation and gurgling in the hose.
  • Less dryness: Steadier humidity supports gentler mornings and easier breathing.
  • Move freely: Low‑profile swivel connection helps reduce tugging and tangles.

ClimateLineAir Heated Tubing

Keep humidity steady and stop rainout with ResMed ClimateLineAir

Improves sleep

ClimateLineAir heated tubing takes comfort to the next level for AirSense 10,
AirSense 11, and Resmed S9 machines. Using a built-in sensor, ClimateLineAir automatically adapts throughout the night to maintain a consistent level of relative humidity.

That means no more rainout, no more gurgling, and no more middle-of-the-night water splashing on your face. Uninterrupted sleep for a better-rested, ready-to-tackle-the-day you.

Convenient climate control

Not only will you enjoy automatic climate control, you'll also be able to set your tube temperature manually if you prefer. Adjustable tube temperature adds another level of therapy comfort control to help you dial in your perfect settings.

*Note: if you're running on a CPAP battery, heated tubing will drastically reduce runtimes, so be sure to disable heated tubing and heated humidification to extend battery life.

Not sure which hose to pick?

ClimateLineAir is designed for use with standard masks (not compatible with AirMini-specific masks). It connects like typical 15 mm tubing and works with your device’s Climate Control feature. Select the appropriate type based on your machine:

  • AirSense 10 and AirCurve 10 machines- Select "For Air 10 Series" type before adding to cart
  • AirSense 11 and AirCurve 11 machines- Select "For Air 11 Series" type before adding to cart
  • Resmed S9 series machines- Select "For S9 Series" type before adding to cart

Power note: Heated tubing draws more power and can shorten CPAP battery runtime by 70–80%. If using a battery, turn heated tubing off to extend runtime.

Comfort tuning and first‑week tips
  1. Start with Climate Control Auto for balanced temperature and humidity.
  2. If you notice dryness, increase humidity slightly; if you see condensation, lower tube temperature a notch.
  3. Route the hose with enough slack so the swivel can move freely and reduce tangles.
  4. After cleaning, hang the tube to air dry fully before use.

FAQs about the ClimateLineAir Heated Tubing

Should I upgrade to a heated hose for the AirSense 11?

Upgrading to a heated hose can help provide a more consistent therapy experience regardless of seasonal changes or location. If you find yourself traveling to a different climate, a heated hose can help you maintain the same therapy you had at home.

If you experience the collection of condensation in your CPAP hose that drips down onto your face and wakes you up, also known as CPAP rainout, a heated hose can help prevent condensation buildup, allowing you to sleep through the night.

With a ClimateLineAir 11 Heated Tube, you’ll also be able to utilize the AirSense 11’s auto climate control settings, which automatically detect the ambient room temperature and supply the optimal humidification for your sleep setting.

You may want one if you:

- Experience dry mouth or throat
- Notice water droplets in your tube
- Use humidification regularly
- Live in a cold or dry climate

You might not need one if you:

- Live in a humid climate
- Don't use the humidifier
- Keep your bedroom warm
- Are comfortable with your current setup

Many of our customers find the heated hose adds noticeable comfort to their therapy, particularly in winter. If cost is a concern, a CPAP hose cover provides similar benefits at a lower price point.

Does the AirSense 11 heated CPAP tubing work with all CPAP masks?

The ClimateLineAir 11 Heated Tube has a 22 mm rubber cuff designed to connect to any CPAP mask. With the exception of some unique masks designed only to work with the ResMed AirMini Travel CPAP, your ResMed heated tube should not have any compatibility issues with any CPAP mask. If you’re connecting your existing tube to a new mask and it doesn’t fit, ensure that the hose connection from your previous mask isn’t stuck to the end of your tubing and preventing the hose from connecting properly.

Is the AirSense 11 heated CPAP tubing durable?

As a genuine ResMed product, the ClimateLineAir 11 Heated Tube is durable and reliable, and is manufactured with the high level of quality you can expect from ResMed products. Your ClimateLineAir 11 Heated Tube should easily last six months, and several owners have reported their hose holding up for months beyond that, too.

Is the AirSense 11 heated hose easy to use?

The ClimateLineAir 11 Heated Hose is a bit more rigid due to the heating element coiled throughout the hose which makes it slightly stiffer than standard CPAP tubing, but it is not noticeably more difficult to work with. While you can manually set your tube settings in your AirSense 11’s menus, you’ll also be able to utilize the automatic climate control settings, making it significantly easier to find the perfect tube temperature and humidity level for your sleep environment.

Can I submerge my heated CPAP hose in water?

Despite its electronic components, it’s perfectly fine to submerge your ClimateLineAir 11 Heated Tube for short periods of time while cleaning. You should not have any issues so long as you ensure that the hose and its connections are completely dry before reconnecting. Connecting a wet heated hose back to your machine can cause electrical damage that may result in your tubing or machine not functioning properly.

Are there accessories that can help with cleaning the hose?

When it comes to cleaning your tubing, the most essential accessory is a good tube brush. We like the CPAP Tube Brush Second Gen for its rigid wire core that makes it easy to push through and clean your tubing. When it comes to drying your hose, hanging it to drip dry is the preferred method, but the Hurricane Equipment Dryer has a special hose nozzle for blasting warm air through your tubing, ensuring that it is completely dry before you need to use it again. It also has plenty of room for your mask and cushion and offers 15, 30, and 60-minute drying cycles. If you don’t like the feel of the hose on your skin, we also offer a variety of soft cloth tubing wraps to further insulate your hose and protect your furniture, too.
