Any mask will work with any machine, with one important exception. The ResMed AirMini is only compatible with certain ResMed CPAP masks. Compatible masks for the AirMini are as follows:
When considering another CPAP, APAP or BiPAP machine from ResMed or any other manufacturer, mask compatibility extends to all brands. The AirMini uses non-standard tubing to connect the machine to the mask, and is the primary reason why other masks won't work with the AirMini. Despite this issue, many of our customers consider the AirMini to be an excellent machine.

I have been using my S8 Elite daily for a couple of years. It is compact for easy travel. It's a great CPAP! I highly recommend it to anyone interested in purchasing a CPAP.
An excellent CPAP machine. Lots of features and easy to bring when travelling. A smaller bag for the machine within a bigger bag that have room for the mask and everything else is a great idea.
Have used machine for 3 weeks on trip. Easy to setup, and everything runs as expected. With the humidifier, machine is great and challenges my Respironics. Shipping and ordering worked great. Thanks CPAP!
I had an S7 that finally gave out, so I ordered the S8 Elite. I am quite satisfied with it. The unit is smaller and quieter than my old S7. Also, the smaller size makes it a lot easier to travel with.
Quick delivery. No problems.
Great product. Operates as advertised.
The product seems to work well, however there is no power on/off switch and the unit is fairly louder than the previous S7 lightwieght. I was surpprised to find that the unit continues to run lightly for up to an additional hour to cool after turning off the air flow. I do like that is much smaller than the S7 Lightweight unit.
I purchased this unit as a travel unit/backup to my Respironics RemStar Plus which I love but is pretty old and large. It's like lugging a cinder block around in my suitcase. So my doc recommended the S8 Elite. At first, I was quite alarmed by its loud sound. When I have the mask on, the pitch of the motor changes when I inhale vs. exhale. Compared to my RemStar Plus, it sounded like a jet turbine and the varying pitch really disturbed me. Then I realized that I couldn't return it to CPAP.COM (I probably should've read their return policy) so I decided to try to make it work. I slept with it and either the sound dissipated that first night or I got used to it. Either way, I'm OK with keeping the unit now and it's not so bad. The size is good, but one down side is that the humidifier is completely enclosed - you can't take it apart to clean it like you can the RemStar. I don't rinse my humidifier every night (who has the time?) so I clean it weekly which works OK, but will probably need to change that habit with the S8. Generally, it's a good unit, though I probably should've done more research before buying it.
Silent and reliable.
The equipment arrived 2 days before we went on a 9 day 2,574 mile tour and was ordered to replace a 6 year old antique which made travel troublesome. The S8 Elite CPAP is compact, easy to use and actually helps my breathing. The humidifier that came with it is also compact and easy to use. There was no hose. The bag containing the new CPAP was a very convenient carry-on that fit under the seat and left room for me to exercise my legs, unlike the antique it replaced. This was developing into a major problem because of my age. It was easy to carry, simple to set up each evening, and easy to dismantle each morning. It helped me greatly as I slept. And now at home it is just as outstanding.
Very pleased with this unit and the service recieved from resmed.
I am very pleased with the S8 Elite machine I just purchased. Because of insurance restrictions I went with a less expensive model than my original CPAP machine and was worried I would not be satisfied. I like this machine better. It is small, quiet and effective. The first night I used it, I slept all night without waking. This is the first time I am actally able to tell a difference in how effective the CPAP treatment is with my Sleep Apnea. Thank you RESMED!
