These CPAP masks have interfaces that accommodate a wide variety of facial hair styles. Gel cushions and foam inserts provide support and comfort for users who may need to over-tighten headgear straps to help seal around facial hair. Silicone gel also helps create a fluid seal over the hair.
These masks were designed specifically for women to accommodate smaller facial features and lifestyle needs.
These masks have the least amount of material around the face, fewer headgear points, and offers more freedom when you sleep. Most Nasal Pillow and Nasal Prong masks are ideal for claustrophobic users.
TV Friendly CPAP masks have interfaces that avoid obstructing your vision so you can read or watch TV before going to bed. Any mask designed without a forehead piece will fall under this property.
These masks are designed to prevent mouth leaks. If you are opening your mouth during the night, airflow escapes and reduces therapy effectiveness. Users who are experiencing a dry mouth, sore throat, or sinus congestion may require a mask that seals around the mouth.
Do you move around a lot when you sleep? These masks are ideal for users who either sleep on their side or stomach or restless sleepers who toss and turn. There are a few specialized cushions that address this issue as well as most Nasal Pillow and Prong CPAP masks.
The value will be marked 'Yes' for CPAP masks with interfaces that are unique to CPAP users with wide facial features. Masks with 'Wide' cushion sizes would fall under this category. Nasal pillow and prong masks are ideal for wide faces because the seal occurs around the nare, not the face.
This property identifies masks that are ideal for small facial features. Any mask with a size petite or extra small will be marked 'Yes'. Nasal Pillow masks are ideal because they accommodate the size of the 'nare' or nasal openings, not the face.
Indicates which masks come packaged with more than one cushion, pillow or prong. Masks can come packaged with ALL Sizes or a combination of sizes as a Fit Pack. This is ideal for users who have not tried the mask before and do not know the right size to select.

This describes the type of mask cushion for the mask. These values are either cloth, foam, gel, or silicone. The foam and gel are usually both silicone based materials. The masks that are marked as "silicone" are without gel or foam.
Some masks come with a forehead support as part of the mask design. Masks marked "yes" contain a forehead support, while masks marked "no" do not contain a forehead support.
These masks come with a silicone-based gel cushion.
Tired of adjusting your headgear every time you take your mask off during the night? Quick-Clips allow users to easily remove and replace the mask on your face without re-adjusting the headgear straps.
These masks offer replaceable cushions, pillows, or prongs. These unique CPAP Masks offer replaceable cushions as a low cost solution to keep your mask feeling and working like new.
This filter indicates if the mask comes with headgear included.
This describes the type of mask, either: nasal, full face, nasal pillow, nasal prong, hybrid, oral, or total face.
The ComfortGel Blue Nasal CPAP Mask with Headgear - Fit Pack by Respironics includes two sizes of nasal cushions. Improvements can be found over the earlier versions in the gel cushion and forehead pad design. A new angled elbow and exhalation micro ports reduce overall sound. Lastly, the cushion is now labeled with a System One Resistance Control rating. PR System One machines use this rating to identify and adjust pressures based on the mask used.
The ComfortGel Blue Nasal CPAP Mask with Headgear - Fit Pack from Respiroincs offers angled exhalation micro ports to help reducing overall airflow noise. This mask includes a rating for use with the System One Resistance Control. This is a nasal mask and covers only the nose to deliver air flow. This Fit Pack includes two sizes of cushion: small and medium.
As an added advantage, the ComfortGel frame has not changed and the new ComfortGel Blue Cushions and Original Gel Cushions are interchangeable. Similar sizes in either style will work with similar frame sizes of either mask.
Improved Gel Cushion Technology. The ComfortGel Blue continues to use a dual, gel cushion and silicone flap system. Respironics has improved the ComfortGel material. The gel is now softer and conforms to your face with greater ease. Use the separate silicone membrane that snaps on, over the gel cushion, to increase the life of the cushion and provides a unique Sure Seal Technology (SST), contouring a seal around the Gel Cushion.
Premium Forehead Pad. The ComfortGel forehead pad is larger with more cushioning that is easy to fit and improves comfort. The forehead support comes with a StabilitySelector, which is adjustable and allows for movement. The pad attaches to a base that can swivel up or down; accommodating the angle of your forehead.
Angled Exhalation Micro Ports. The new diffusion vent and 360 Degree elbow disperses air softer and quieter than before. Respironics has decreased the overall size of each port, allowing several micro ports to fit on the elbow. The elbow angles the ports away from your bed partner and the micro size diffuses airflow quietly, reducing overall sound.
System One Resistance Control. Respironics wanted a machine to achieve optimal pressure no matter which mask is used. Resistance Control is the solution, a numbering system on all of Respironics CPAP masks based on variable resistance characteristics. Each number instructs the device to compensate for different mask types. The result? A consistent and reliable pressure enhanced with all the benefits of Flex Technology no matter which mask is used.

DO NOT BOIL CUSHION.
'Blue' Gel Technology is engineered to conform to facial features without the need to boil the cushion. Unlike the Original ComfortGel Nasal CPAP mask, the ComfortGel Blue cushion cannot be boiled. If you have any problems with size or fitting, please call our toll free number 800-356-5221 for assistance from a CPAP expert.
Please Note:The same size silicone flap must be used to secure the gel cushion to the frame.
Where do I find the size?
The ComfortGel Blue frame comes in three different sizes (see Replacing Mask Frames above) and is labeled with a letter and a part number, both designate mask size. When examining the front of the mask, the size and part number are located just below the mask elbow. To find the size of the nasal cushion, turn the mask so that you are looking directly at the bottom of the nasal cushion. The gel cushion does not have an identifiable size. Use the letter indicated on the silicone flap to determine the size of the nasal gel cushion.
The nasal cushion is replaceable.
Sizing Indicator Update 2015: In 2015, Philips Respironics changed the sizing indicator on the silicone flap for ComfortGel Blue Series Nasal and Full Face Masks.
Previous to 2015: A black letter is printed on the bottom of the flap to indicate the size.
Current Design: A raised, clear letter is embossed on the bottom of the flap to show the size.
Resistance Control is a numbering system on all new Respironics CPAP masks and based on variable resistance characteristics. Each number instructs the device to compensate for different mask types. The result is a consistent and reliable pressure, enhanced with all the benefits of Flex Technology, no matter which mask is used. The resistance control number for the ComfortGel Blue Nasal CPAP Mask is X1. Please Note: System One Resistance Control is for System One Machines only.

Which CPAP masks work on which machines?
Any mask will work with any machine, with one important exception. The ResMed AirMini is only compatible with certain ResMed CPAP masks. Compatible masks for the AirMini are as follows:
ResMed AirFit™ N20 Nasal Mask
ResMed AirFit™ F20 Full Face
ResMed AirTouch™ F20 Full Face
ResMed AirFit™ P10 Nasal Pillow
When considering another CPAP, APAP or BiPAP machine from ResMed or any other manufacturer, mask compatibility extends to all brands. The AirMini uses non-standard tubing to connect the machine to the mask, and is the primary reason why other masks won't work with the AirMini. Despite this issue, many of our customers consider the AirMini to be an excellent machine.
How do I care for my mask?
Masks should be washed daily with warm water and gentle soap or baby shampoo. Let the mask air dry. Never use antibacterial soap as it will break down the silicone of the mask cushion. Avoid soaps that include lotion which can coat the mask and cause it to lose its seal. A safe cleaner is the Control III Disinfectant CPAP Cleaning Solution. Remember, going to bed with a clean face will improve your seal and protect the lifespan of your mask.
The best time to clean your mask is in the morning after use. This removes the oils left behind from your skin which can reduce the lifespan of your mask. We recommend using Mask Wipes to make daily morning cleaning easy. The mask wipes are made from materials that will not break down your mask.
For customers who want to completely disinfect their mask and accessories, there's an even better option than wipes. The Lumin Mask and Accessories Cleaner uses powerful UV light to disinfect, killing almost all bacteria almost instantly. It's not a cleaner and doesn't scrub or wash anything, but for simple disinfecting the Lumin works great!
Here are some other cleaning products to help with keeping your mask fresh:
Medicare allows for mask cushion replacement every three (3) months, and a complete mask system replacement every six (6) months. CPAP manufacturers and vendors suggest these replacement schedules as well.
In our experience, most mask cushions begin to deteriorate after about six months of use. The cushion eventually becomes too soft to hold a seal. The headgear straps lose elasticity and must be tightened more and more to get the same quality seal.
We strongly suggest replacing cushions and pillows as soon as they start to soften. Air leaks may reduce the effectiveness of CPAP therapy and headgear that is too tight may cause facial sores at pressure points. In most cases, replacement headgear is available if it is stretched out or the Velcro worn out.
To see what parts of your mask are replaceable refer to our Replacement Part Finder. Just search for your mask to see all of the replaceable parts.
What are the CPAP, BiPAP, Sleep Apnea, and Oxygen related HCPCS, CPT or billing codes?
The ideal CPAP mask is not noticeable to the user during CPAP therapy. If you breathe through your nose only, the nasal mask may offer the best therapy. Nasal cushions create a very good seal around your nose, while keeping a small profile. Also, nasal masks can be found in silicone, gel, foam, or cloth material. The SleepWeaver masks are the only cloth masks on the market, and are a very popular choice among nasal mask users. Lastly, most nasal masks have a forehead support which offers stability and support for the mask.
Are the ComfortGel nasal cushion sizes interchangeable on the mask frame?
ComfortGel and ComfortGel Blue mask frames and cushions are interchangeable, but the cushion and frame must be the same size. ComfortGel Blue Cushion for ComfortGel Nasal CPAP Masks will work with either mask.
Large frame = Large cushion and flap
Small/Medium frame = Medium cushion and flap
Small/Medium frame = Small cushion and flap
Petite frame = Petite cushion and flap
The same size silicone flap must be used to secure the gel cushion to the frame.

Comfort
Overall, the fit of the actual mask is good. The seal on the face is what it should be. I only have one issue with the setup. The straps are too rigid and do not allow removal or putting the mask on easily. If there was some "stretch" or elasticity this would be a better solution for me. more...

These are terrible
The old CPAP masks had 4 to 5 times the amount of gel. I can't get these to seal on my face. Instead I get serenaded with raspberries and farts all night long. Where is my old mask dudes? more...

Hard to use
The listing was a little odd. It stated you get 2 masks small and med. You do get 2 masks but they are both s/m. The head gear is confusing and hard to use. The seal was a problem as well. I tried it one night and put it away. I would say I wasted my money on this one and of course no return insurance. more...
