Masks should be washed daily with warm water and gentle soap or baby shampoo. Let the mask air dry. Never use antibacterial soap as it will break down the silicone of the mask cushion. Avoid soaps that include lotion which can coat the mask and cause it to lose its seal. A safe cleaner is the Control III Disinfectant CPAP Cleaning Solution. Remember, going to bed with a clean face will improve your seal and protect the lifespan of your mask.
The best time to clean your mask is in the morning after use. This removes the oils left behind from your skin which can reduce the lifespan of your mask. We recommend using Mask Wipes to make daily morning cleaning easy. The mask wipes are made from materials that will not break down your mask.
For customers who want to completely disinfect their mask and accessories, there's an even better option than wipes. The Lumin Mask and Accessories Cleaner uses powerful UV light to disinfect, killing almost all bacteria almost instantly. It's not a cleaner and doesn't scrub or wash anything, but for simple disinfecting the Lumin works great!

excellent fit...
Easy to knock off your face. Does not work for me.
I began using this interface in June of 2008 and really like how it works for me. It is so minimal! There is a hardly any mask at all. It seals very well and is very comfortable. It is also very easy to put on and remove. At this price, I was stocking up. I know this is not a popular mask, but for me, it is great! Since I am expecting them to not be available soon, at this great price, I stocked up.
I'E BEEN WEARING THE SNAPP-X FOR THREE YEARS AND I FIND IT TO BE VERY COMFORTABLE AND RARELY LEAVES MARKS ON MY FACE. IN THE BEGINNING I DEVELOPED A SORE INSIDE MY NOSE BUT IT WENT AWAY SOON AFTER.
I have used the Snapp mask since 05 and really like it. It gives me the freedom of movement I need plus I do not wake up in the mornings with the red dents in my face. It is also quite. The only problem with the Snapp was the elbows leak after about 6 months. The new Snapp-X has different elbows but it has a major drawback for me. The exhaust is way too loud. I do not know why as it is designed just like the Snapp. The new Snapp-X I have exhaust so much that I can tell a difference in the amount of air I need for the apnea. If you like a quite mask then I would not recommend the Snapp-X
I've only used this mask one night, but had to take it off. It was noisy, and kept coming loose and leaking, which was probably my fault However, it also irritated the inside of my nose and was therefore uncomfortable. I followed the instructions to fit it. I had to go back to my gel comfort mask which is much quieter and allows me to sleep on my side. With the Snap-xx, every time I turned on my side, the mask leaked.
I read all the glowing reviews here and was looking forward to something a lot less cumbersome than my current Respironics Optilife nasal pillow mask with its chin strap that irritates my beard so much. I liked the design of the SNAPP-X because I have the choice of putting the air tube down on my chest or above the head without a "snorkel" running up between the eyes. So I guess you could say I was predisposed to a good experience with the SNAPP-X. Not so, at all!! It is **way** noisier than the Optilife. If I were to guess, I'd say 5 to 7x more noisier. Simply put, it's unacceptable. My CPAP runs at 10cm and this thing keeps me from falling to sleep with the loud, constant hiss. It *is* very comfortable so I wasn't disappointed in the fit at all but I'd advise the manufacturer to study their competition a bit more and come up with a less turbulent exhalation design. The accompanying instructions are borderline negligent. Again, the Optilife comes with a picture card + a 30 page booklet with clear and easy to understand instructions whereas this thing has half a page of English on a thin, multi lingual booklet + a photo card.
I found the headgear to be comfortable. The pillow I had some trouble adjusting and was a bit uncomfortable on one side of my nose. The biggest downside I found was the exhalation port was very loud. I do not mind some noise, bu this with all holes uncovered was distractingly noisy.
I have been through a few masks and nasal prong system and this one works and seals good but hurt my nose in the morning. I tried different sizes, but always made my nost sore. I keep it as a backup, but would not use long term.
I've been on CPAP for >7 years and used many different masks. Used nasal masks for years, but they kept leaking and blowing air into my eyes. Lately, used nasal prong and although the Bravo unit kept irritating nostrils I still used since was better than air into my tear ducts all night. Just got the SNAPP-X. WOW! Fits great! The design puts the prongs into the nostrils without rubbing them so now the ulcer I've had for a year is healing! I highly recommend the SNAPP-X. Easy to clean, dries quickly, very little noise. You have a winner in my opinion!!!
I've been using a CPAP for approximately 12 years now. Due to the pressure on certain sinus I have not been able to use the mask that covers the entire nose and I have always preferred the nasal pillow mask. I started with the Adams mask and it was fairly comfortable but it seems the straps seem to stretch easy causing the mask to fit loose and thus leak. Then I went to the breeze and really loved how it stayed in place, thus eliminating leakage, however it was a bit bulky and since I tend to move alot when I sleep, it would be uncomfortable in certain positions, thus waking me up to refit everything. This SNAPP-X is great so far. So flexible and comfortable it moves with me without leakage. I no longer find myself lying on that one inch supply line which was painful and left silly marks on my face. If I roll over and pinch one tube, I continue to get air supply from the other tube. I hope this continues to perform as well as it does right now. I purchased it based on the comments on the staff from CPAP.com. They were right. This is a very comfortable effective mask at a very good price.
Nasal pillows seal better than the old model I was using that was very similar in design. I would purchase again.
