The Total Face Mask with Headgear is a mask that covers the entire face, including the eyes. It is an alternative for users who are unable to use or tolerate other mask types.
The Total Face Mask is a unique alternative for patients in the hospital or home who have difficulty tolerating nasal masks used with BiPAP or CPAP systems. The Total Face Mask provides a fast, effective seal and eliminates pressure sores caused by some nasal masks.
Air pressure from the system inflates the soft, flexible sealing layer, which minimizes leaks while providing optimal airflow through the nasal passages. Air pressure circulates throughout the mask, allowing more natural, comfortable breathing. The clear, lightweight plastic faceplate adds to the comfort and does not obstruct vision to help minimize claustrophobia in some patients. Comes in one size with an easy-to-use headgear that quickly fits most patients, which is an important advantage in critical care situations.

Where do I find the size?
The mask frame and cushion do not have an identifiable size because the Total Face Mask with Headgear is intended to fit a majority of users. Only one size may be purchased in this mask.
Yes. Federal law requires we have a valid prescription on file before we ship your mask, machine, humidifier, or EPAP therapy, including Provent and Bongo RX. You will also need a prescription to purchase the Nightbalance POSA device.
We provide many easy ways to get your prescription:

Masks should be washed daily with warm water and gentle soap or baby shampoo. Let the mask air dry. Never use antibacterial soap as it will break down the silicone of the mask cushion. Avoid soaps that include lotion which can coat the mask and cause it to lose its seal. A safe cleaner is the Control III Disinfectant CPAP Cleaning Solution. Remember, going to bed with a clean face will improve your seal and protect the lifespan of your mask.
The best time to clean your mask is in the morning after use. This removes the oils left behind from your skin which can reduce the lifespan of your mask. We recommend using Mask Wipes to make daily morning cleaning easy. The mask wipes are made from materials that will not break down your mask.
For customers who want to completely disinfect their mask and accessories, there's an even better option than wipes. The Lumin Mask and Accessories Cleaner uses powerful UV light to disinfect, killing almost all bacteria almost instantly. It's not a cleaner and doesn't scrub or wash anything, but for simple disinfecting the Lumin works great!
Here are some other cleaning products to help with keeping your mask fresh:
Mask fits ok but the amount of air that blows out of the two holes in the front of the makes it sound like you’re inside an air compressor.
This is at least my 3rd one, so I'm obviously very satisfied with it. Nothing smaller I've tried works for me.
After spending a total of two to three hour over a week's time I was unable to adjust the headgear where the mask would NOT LEAK ECCESIVELY! Worthless to me, and add in the fact insurance was only a few dollars less than cost of mask itself I'm out ove $100. I recommend if there isn't a free 30 day return policy DO NOT try this mask!
I'm sure if your head is shaped "correctly" it's okay. The way the seal works there isn't much pressure. My problem is that I have a "thin" head. it wasn't wide enough for the seal, so there was no good way to get a seal. It would be nice if there were some different sizes, or maybe removeable cowls different sizes... that would make this a much better mask. Would only recommend getting if you have the extra money, as it could be your perfect mask if you're one of the 50% who seem to rate this as good.
I so wanted it to work so I risked the $110 It failed the test bad, just like the other negative reviews say, it leaks so bad you can not use it, it looks like a good idea but it just does not work, learn from me, Don't waste your money.
It was to wide in some places and the air escaped I had to use my old mask! waste of money.
I have to tighten it so tight to keep if from leaking that it mashes into my face. very uncomfortable.
I'm told I have severe apnea during REM sleep. Being a mouth breather the two nasal masks I tried did not work well. Consequently, the "full" mask covering the mouth and nose I bought kept slipping and the resultant air stream blew into my eyes and dried them out ... So, I tried this one out and the results are oaky but not great. The seal inside the mask sticks to my face after an hour or two and makes me perspire. The air inside the mask also seems to become thick and humid. The stapes are bulky but are not bad .... I'm beginning to think that this mask thing is just not for me, so, if you are a bit more tolerant than I maybe this will work out for you. Good Luck !
At first try I thought it was a complete failure because it was leaking like crazy. When I started to remove it the leaks started slowing down and then stopped. I realized that this mask needed to be very loose for it to seal. I wish it was smaller but it is a one size fits all and that isn't a bad thing.
First I want to say this is the most comfortable mask I have ever used. With that said I have two minor issues. The one size fits all I think is a bad idea. In the effort to accomplish that, the mask was wide across my face and difficult to seal around the ears. The second issue is the inner air pillow is so large especially at the bottom of the mask it can cover up my mouth. So I believe two or three sizes would provide a better fit. Beyond that I love this mask. I do criss cross the straps. I find it very comfortable. I have lupus so I toss and turn and sleep in many different positions and find no issues with this mask shifting or leaking. I would recommend this mask.
It does leak very badly, no matter how I reset straps the fit all inter seal does not fit well, it might if you can stand 100 psi. As the reviews I read I had the same problem would not recommend for anyone to waste there money on this mast l
The mask fits OK but a steady (nosey ) stream of air escapes from fitting on mask. Air also leaks on sides. Net result: I can't use mask. a waste of over $150.
