Fluoride, calcium, and other minerals help make tap water taste better and more appealing to drink; and this pitcher filters all of that out to prevent mineral buildup and dangerous bacterial growth in the respiratory system. Ion distilled water has a sterile and unpleasant taste, and while not harmful, we don't recommend drinking distilled water.

How to Change the H2O 4 CPAP Filter

Here are the steps you'll need to follow to change your H2O 4 CPAP filter. H2O 4 CPAP uses a special filter that's only compatible with the H2O 4 CPAP Ion Distilled Water Pitchers and will not work with any other make or model.

1. Make sure the pitcher is empty before starting.
2. Remove the top lid from the pitcher.
3. Locate the filter at the bottom of the pitcher bowl. Grab the pull tab located on top of the filter, and pull up.
4. Replace with a new cartridge and lock it into place.
5. Replace the top lid.
