AirFit N20 Nasal Mask

Secure, quiet fit for 99% with ResMed AirFit N20

Versatile fit, stable seal

Built around ResMed’s InfinitySeal silicone cushion, the AirFit N20 is designed to fit 99% of users while maintaining a dependable seal across a wide pressure range. The flexible frame contours comfortably and keeps your line of sight open for reading or watching TV. Four easy-adjust tabs plus magnetic clips help you dial in a personalized fit that holds night after night. A short tube with triple‑swivel adds freedom to turn without tugging your mask, while plush headgear reduces pressure points for more comfortable therapy. Paired with QuietAir vents, the N20 delivers a consistent seal and a calmer bedroom.

  • InfinitySeal cushion adapts to facial contours
  • Fits 99% of face shapes
  • Flexible frame, open view
  • Plush headgear with four adjustment tabs

All‑night comfort, less hassle

The N20 is engineered for comfort and quiet from first wear to final ramp.

  1. QuietAir vents help keep operation soft, listed at 24 dB.
  2. Compact, low‑profile frame minimizes contact and red marks.
  3. Short tube + triple‑swivel lets active sleepers move more freely.
  4. Set‑it‑and‑forget‑it headgear preserves your preferred fit.

Everyday ease and smart options

Slide in, click, and sleep. Self‑guiding magnetic clips make on/off simple, and a quick‑release elbow lets you disconnect at the mask for nighttime breaks—no need to undo your fit. The frame disassembles quickly for cleaning and is also compatible with the AirTouch memory foam cushion for a softer feel when you want it. For smaller features, choose the For Her headgear option. Safety features include exhaust venting and an anti‑asphyxia valve; avoid blocking these areas to maintain airflow. Sometimes the best routine is the one you barely notice.

  • Quick‑release elbow for fast disconnects
  • Easy disassembly for routine cleaning
  • Works with AirTouch N20 memory foam cushion
  • For Her headgear option for smaller faces
Magnet safety and medical implants

Magnetic clips hold the lower headgear straps with minimal effort, but they aren’t appropriate around certain implants.

Do not use this mask if you or a bed partner has devices that can be affected by magnets, including but not limited to:

  • pacemakers
  • implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs)
  • neurostimulators
  • cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) shunts
  • insulin/infusion pumps
  • aneurysm clips
  • flow‑disruption devices
  • embolic coils
  • stents
  • valves
  • electrodes
  • certain hearing aids

Keep magnets a safe distance from such implants, and consult your physician if unsure.

If you choose a non‑magnet option instead, our CPAP Guides can help you find an alternative that fits your therapy and health needs.

Features

Universal Fit

The AirFit N20 is crafted to fit you perfectly, with ResMed studies showing it accommodates 99% of users. Its unique adaptive cushion conforms to your facial features, while the four adjustable Velcro straps on the headgear ensure a custom fit every time.

Ultra-Secure Seal

Thanks to the innovative InfinitySeal silicone cushion and loops, the AirFit N20 maintains a secure and stable seal across any pressure setting and sleeping position. This design keeps the mask in place, reducing air leaks and ensuring a good night’s sleep, even if you toss and turn.

Set-It-and-Forget-It

Frequent nighttime bathroom trips are no problem with the AirFit N20. The convenient self-guiding magnetic clips make it easy to put on and take off, while the quick-release elbow allows for easy disconnection from the machine without removing the mask.

Fewer Red Marks

With plush, padded headgear, the AirFit N20 minimizes skin irritation and rubbing. The absence of forehead straps means you’ll wake up with fewer red marks and more comfort.

QuietAir Vents

The QuietAir venting design muffles the sound of air passing through the exhalation vents, operating at an ultra-quiet 24 decibels—perfect for light sleepers. It’s as quiet as a whisper, ensuring you and your partner can sleep soundly.

Open Line of Sight

Designed to be compact without the bulky forehead support, the AirFit N20 keeps your line of sight open. Whether you’re walking around, reading a book, or watching TV before bed, you can enjoy unrestricted vision and comfort.

FAQs about the AirFit N20 Nasal Mask

How Do You Change the Resmed Airfit N20 Cushion?

Replacing your AirFit N20 Cushion can be done in just a few steps. First, push the side buttons on the frame and pull the elbow away, then unclip the magnets and undo the upper headgear tabs. Pull the strapping away from the frame and hold the frame between the upper and lower arms—at this point, you’ll be able to pull the cushion away from the frame with ease.

How Often Should I Change the Airfit N20 Cushion?

Your AirFit N20 cushion should be changed every three to six months, unless you notice visible wear and tear or other physical damage to the product and then the cushion should be replaced immediately to ensure a secure mask seal and successful CPAP therapy. If you want to bundle and save money, purchase the ResMed AirFit N20 Mask + Five Replacement Cushions Bundle, so you won’t have to worry about ordering additional cushions in a pinch.

How Do You Take Apart the Resmed Airfit N20?

All AirFit masks can be disassembled in a similar fashion. To take apart your AirFit N20, remove the elbow from the frame and then unclip the magnets and undo the upper headgear tabs. From there, you can pull the strapping away from the frame and pull the cushion off of the frame.

Is the Airtouch N20 Cushion Compatible With the Airfit N20 Mask?

Yes, you can use the AirTouch N20 Cushion with an AirTouch N20 Mask and an AirFit N20 mask—whichever you prefer!

What’s the Difference Between the Airfit N10 Versus the Airfit N20?

The AirFit N10 is the older generation of the AirFit N20. The biggest difference is that the AirFit N20 features an improved cushion that provides a secure seal for 99% of face shapes, but both offer the performance and comfort you’ve come to expect from ResMed.

What’s the Difference Between the Airfit N20 vs. the Airfit N30?

Like the AirFit N10 and the AirFit N20, the AirFit N20 is an older generation mask compared to the AirFit N30. The AirFit N30 is much quieter—the N20 operates at 24 decibels while the N30 has a sound level of just 18 decibels. However, they are both quieter than a whisper. If you’re a light sleeper, go with the lower sound level. Each of the AirFit masks are lightweight, whisper-quiet, and designed to eliminate leaks.
