Experience the unique combination of full face coverage with nasal pillow stability. The AirFit X30i oral nasal mask is designed for mouth breathers who want the comfort and seal of nasal pillows without compromising on effective therapy.

Mouth and nose coverage

The AirFit X30i covers both the mouth and nose to accommodate those who breathe through their mouth but want the comfortable and reliable seal of nasal pillows. This dual-cushion design combines comfort and performance, giving you the freedom to sleep the way you want to.

Soft, silicone cushions

The X30i nasal pillow cushions rest on the edge of the nostrils and securely seal on contact, while the oral portion surrounds your mouth with a strong and comfortable seal.

Includes three pillow sizes

The size selection menu offers your choice of a Small, Medium, or Large frame (check our FAQs for guidance on choosing the right frame size). Regardless of your choice, you will also receieve compatible nasal pillows in Small, Medium, and Large as well.

QuietAir venting technology

The QuietAir venting technology built into the X30i gently disperses air coming from the mask to provide a quiet experience for both you and your bed partner.

Top-of-head tubing design

The tubing connects to the frame at the top of the head so that it stays out of the way and greatly limits dragging from your cpap tube. This allows you to sleep in your preferred sleeping positions or move around at night without disrupting therapy.

Plush headgear

This mask is made with plush headgear that is specifically designed for softness and stability. It includes multiple connection points to help you find your best fit.

Quick-release elbow

This mask includes a quick-release elbow that allows you to quickly disconnect the mask from the tubing in case you need to get up in the middle of the night.

Using Your Mask for the First Time

  • Connect the air tubing from your CPAP to the mask elbow
  • Release the elbow from the frame by squeezing the quick-release tabs
  • Detach magnetic headgear clips from the mask frame
  • Hold the mask with one hand on the cushion and the other on the frame
  • Position the cushion under your nose and over your mouth
  • Make sure the ResMed logo on the headgear is facing up
  • Pull the frame and headgear over your head
  • Bring the lower headgear straps under your ears
  • Attach the magnetic clips to the frame connectors
  • Undo the fit tabs on the upper headgear straps
  • Pull tabs evenly until the mask feels secure but comfortable
  • Repeat with the lower headgear straps if needed
  • Reattach the elbow and hose to complete assembly

Magnetic Clip Warning

This mask uses magnetic clips to keep the frame securely in place without constantly adjusting Velcro straps. These magnets are not safe to use near certain medical implants, including:

  • Pacemakers
  • Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICD)
  • Neurostimulators
  • Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) Shunts
  • Insulin/Infusion pumps
  • Aneurysm Clips
  • Flow Disruption Devices
  • Embolic Coils
  • Stents
  • Valves
  • Electrodes
  • Hearing Aids

Mask Safety Features

The AirFit X30i includes two key safety features—exhaust vent holes and anti-asphyxia valves. These ensure you can breathe normally and exhale safely, even if the CPAP machine turns off. To maintain safety and performance, keep these areas clean, unblocked, and free of damage.

Choosing the Correct Frame Size

The X30i frame comes in small, standard, and large sizes. Most users will find the standard frame offers a comfortable fit. If you have a wider face or strong bone structure, consider sizing up. Petite users may prefer the small frame, available with assembly kits. If your mask feels too loose or too tight, adjusting your frame size may help.

Finding Your Cushion Size

The X30i cushion includes two components: a universal-fit oral cushion and interchangeable nasal pillow cushions. The mouth cushion is one-size-fits-most and works with all X30i and F30i frames. Your mask kit includes small, medium, and large nasal pillows—try each to find the size that gives you the best comfort and seal with minimal leaks.

Care & Cleaning

More

Cleaning Schedule

  • Daily: Oral cushion and nasal pillows
  • Weekly: Headgear, frame, and tubing elbow

Facial oil and dirt can easily build up on your mask parts when they’re not cleaned properly. This can lead to skin irritation and a leaky mask seal which will have a negative impact on your therapy.

Mask Part Replacement Schedule

  • Nasal Pillows: Every 1-3 Months (Resmed recommends twice monthly)
  • Oral Cushion: Every 3-6 Months
  • Frame: Every 6-9 Months
  • Headgear: Every 6-9 Months
  • Complete Mask: Every 12 Months

Cleaning the AirFit X30i

Time it takes: 5 minutes
Supplies you’ll need to clean your mask:

  1. Sink or tub
  2. Warm, drinking-quality water (86°F / 30°C)
  3. Mild or hypoallergenic soap, or baby shampoo
  4. Towel

Step-by-step cleaning tips:

If your mask is connected to a device, disconnect the device air tubing from the mask elbow, then disassemble your mask:

  1. Undo the fastening tabs on the upper headgear straps and pull from
the frame. Keep the magnetic clips attached to the lower headgear
    straps.
  2. Squeeze the side buttons on the elbow and detach from the frame.
  3. Grip the frame connector and lift to unclip from the cushion. Repeat
    on the other side.
  4. Pull the pillows from the oral cushion.
  5. In the sink, clean your mask parts by gently rubbing (or using a soft-bristle brush) with warm, drinking-quality water and soap. Avoid harsh cleaning products and dish detergents.
  6. Rinse again thoroughly with warm, drinking-quality water.
  7. Place mask components on the towel and allow to air-dry away from direct sunlight.

FAQs

More

Will the AirFit X30i work with my CPAP machine?

The AirFit X30i will work with any standard-sized tubing connection, meaning it is natively compatible with most CPAP machines, even if you're using heated tubing.

If you're interested in pairing the AirFit X30i with an AirMini Travel CPAP, you'll need the Zephair Tubing Adapter and a regular, unheated CPAP hose like Resmed's SlimLine Tubing.

Can I use an X30i cushion with my F30i frame?

Yes you can! The AirFit X30i and F30i both use the exact same frame, meaning you can swap seamlessly between the F30i's nasal cradle cushion and the X30i's hybrid nasal pillow design in seconds.

How often should I replace the cushion?

While Resmed recommends replacing the X30i's nasal pillows twice a month, typically you can use the same set of nasal pillows for 1 to 3 months on other masks. The oral portion of the X30i should last between 3 and 6 months before compromising your seal quality.

How do I know which size frame to pick for the AirFit X30i?

For most people, the Standard frame should fit well. If you typically use smaller hats or headgear, or have a generally smaller head size, you may be better off with the small frame. Similarly, if you typically wear larger hats or headgera, or have a generally larger head size, you may be better off with the large frame.
