FAQs - ResMed AirSense 11 Replacement Parts List Collection

How often should I replace my AirSense 11 parts?

Your AirSense 11 replacement parts should be changed out on schedule to protect your health and the life of your CPAP machine. Be sure to watch for signs of wear, such as discoloration, cracking, bad odor, and air leaks.

  • Water Chamber: Replace every 3-6 months
  • Hose: Replace every 3-6 months
  • Filter: Replace every 1-3 months
Is the AirSense 11 compatible with AirSense 10 parts?

AirSense 11 features a very different design compared to the AirSense 10. AirSense 10 hoses, filters, water chambers, and power sources are not compatible with the AirSense 11.

What the difference between a SlimLine hose and a ClimateLineAir hose?

SlimLine and ClimateLineAir are both CPAP hoses made by ResMed. They are compatible with AirSense and AirCurve machines.

SlimLine Hoses: This is a line of 15mm standard hoses that are lighter and less bulky than traditional 22mm hoses. These are great if you want a simple, flexible tube, but because it isn’t heated, you may notice some water build-up when you're in a cooler environment or have your air conditioner running cold. SlimLine hoses are universally compatible with all AirSense and AirCurve machines.

ClimateLineAir Hoses: A line of heated hoses that work with your machine’s Climate Control feature to maintain a stable air temperature and humidity setting. These are great for preventing rainout and eliminating dryness. There are three types of ClimateLineAir hoses: ClimateLine for AirSeries 10, ClimateLine for AirSeries 11, and ClimateLine for S9.

What type of filter does the AirSense 11 use?

The AirSense 11 AutoSet comes with a standard disposable filter that catches dust, pollen, and pet dander. If you have asthma, allergies, or a sensitive airway, you can also upgrade to a disposable hypoallergenic filter. Both types should be replaced every 1-3 months.

How long will the AirSense 11 last on a CPAP battery?

It depends on battery size and your machine's settings. Higher pressures, leaks, heated tubing, and high humidity shorten runtime. As a quick guide:

Pro tip: Turn off your humidifier and heated tube, and use a good mask seal to extend your battery life.
