Product Warnings:

WARNINGS

• Do not iron the headgear as the material is heat sensitive and will be damaged.
• When fitting the mask, do not overtighten the headgear as this may lead to skin redness or sores around the mask cushion.
• The mask is not suitable for patients requiring life support ventilation.
• Regularly clean your mask and its components to maintain the quality of your mask and to prevent the growth of germs that can adversely affect your health.

The silicone nasal cushion should be replaced once every three to six months.

Cleaning Your Mask

1. Slowly remove the silicone nasal cushion from the frame, and wash with warm water and mild soap.
2. You'll need to hand wash some of the other components on the mask by using a bristle brush.
3. You'll need to wash the headgear with warm soapy water. When you've cleaned the headgear completely, you'll want to rinse thoroughly to make sure the soap suds are removed.
4. Set all components aside to air dry, but do not put them in direct sunlight.

Fitting the Mask

1. Position the nasal cushion under the nose, and lift the elastic headgear over your head.
2. Make sure the headgear is routed towards the back of your head over your ears.
3. Locate the headgear split back straps, and spread the two halves further apart, increasing the tension on the cushion to a comfortable level.

Removing the Headgear

1. The headgear attaches to the frame like a sock, stretching around the end of the stabilizer.
2. To remove the headgear, you'll need to unhook the headgear from the stabilizer, by pulling back the material and sliding it back until it detaches from the frame.
