This is the optional docking station for the:
Please Note: This product is not compatible with the following machines:
The docking station weighs 1.4 pounds and provides extra stability to keep the machine in place through the night.
This docking station is not required for operating the Transcend Travel CPAP machines on the bedside.
Having the base for your Transcend unit is the difference between having your unit next to you all night instead of it ending up on the floor, especially when travelling and the night stands are tiny!
I use this in my RV. Limited space available for “stuff”. Keeps the CPAP steady on the small nightstand (ledge).
Works okay. Sturdy and keeps the CPAPmini from moving around However, it makes the CPAPmini a little bulky when traveling. Lately, I have just been leaving it at home when I travel and just put the CPAPmini on the carpet and it works fine.
fine it does its job
I like the way the Transcend unit snaps securely to the weighted base.
working good, but some what bulky for travel....it did stop my unit from skating/falling off the night stand when I'm traveling...so it does what I needed...
I purchased the Docking Station but after receiving the system I have discovered that if you purchase the Heated Humidifier you do not need the Docking Station. I have only used the Docking Station twice and it does give stability to the Transcend Auto CPAP.
I definitely would recommend this for the Transcend unit. The machine doesn't come with any feet or pads, so it will slide around on the table as the hose moves. This base unit does an excellent job anchoring the machine, and it is about the same size and weight as the machine. Just enough weight and pad to secure the machine.
The fact that the miniCPAP machine needs a docking station to keep from sliding around on the bedside stand suggests that Transcend recognized they had a problem with the machine being TOO light. They're right. Unfortunately, adding this is almost required, and that pretty much kills the argument that the miniCPAP is the ideal travel machine.
The docking station serves its purpose very well. It takes up a little more room on the night stand than I would have wanted, but if it keeps the CPAP machine steady and functioning as it should, then it is fine.
My only complaint with my Transcend CPAP is that it was so light that it would fall off my bedside table several times during the night when I would turn over in bed. The docking station did the trick. The CPAP slips easily into the holders and stays on the table.
Without the docking station, it would not be hard to have the mini CPAP fall off the table and onto the floor and probably damage the machine. Too expensive to leave it to chance
