EPAP therapy isn’t for everyone. Bongo Rx is designed for people with mild to moderate Obstructive Sleep Apnea (AHI 5–30) who can breathe through the nose and typically need low–moderate CPAP pressures.

You’ll get the best results if you keep your mouth closed during sleep or support it with a chinstrap. Bongo Rx isn’t recommended if you’re a habitual mouth breather, have severe OSA, require high CPAP pressures, or experience ongoing sinus issues, significant nasal blockage, severe respiratory or heart conditions, or chronically low blood pressure.

    For mild sleep apnea

    I’m so thankful for this option for mild sleep apnea. It is easy to use. My only issue is that I need a size between med and large. Other than that I like this product.

    Bongo Rx

    I am so pleased with this product. I have mild OSA and I thought I would need a cpap. I decided to try this product first and my sleep cycle has greatly improved in 2 1/2 weeks! I just happen to see it while shopping and my doctor wrote me a prescription when I asked him. I had already had a sleep study done. I am looking forward to feeling better! Thanks

    I was very excited to see such a simple product that might work for me. Still trialing the device. Seems like it has potential. I used it about 6 hours last night,. I used it with the provided head strap. But when I got up to go to the bathroom I noticed a bit of a runny nose and sore nostrils, so I took it off. Thinking I might try one of the smaller sizes. But I was pleased that I could sleep for six hours. And at 9700ft altitude. I’m having problems with in increased AHI’s with my MesRed Airsense 11 Autoset, and my MesRed Air Mini., so thought it would be a good opportunity to try the Bongo. The other challenge is that since I have compliance requirements to meet with my ResMed Airsense 11 Autosense, it affects how I can approach trialing the Bongo. So I will keep trying.
