  • ResMed Air Outlet Adapter for AirSense 11

The ResMed Air Outlet Adapter attaches securely to the back of all AirSense 11 Series CPAP machines. This adapter must always be installed correctly whenever your CPAP device is in use to ensure proper airflow and performance.

    Usage Instructions:
The Air Outlet Adapter is designed to remain in place during regular use and should only be removed if it becomes damaged or requires cleaning.
To remove it, press the release clip located inside the machine—where the humidifier chamber typically fits—then gently pull the adapter out from the back of the device.
For full details, refer to the user manual or documentation included with your equipment.

    Seal importance

My machine was not sealing good when I would put water in the chamber. I didn’t realize there is a silicone seal that the humidifier chamber attaches too. Once I purchased a new outlet no more leak issues!

    Air outlet

As ordered. Came quickly. I’ve never been told that it needed to be replace. Makes sense.

Good idea to buy this if you have an AirSense

Oddly, insurance companies and Medicare only replace specific items with the CPAP machine such as humidifer, hose, masks, etc. But one of the significant components is this air outlet. After a year, the soft silicone seal, which mates with the humidifer chamber, can become quirky and lead to periodic leaks. Replacing this once or twice a year is probably a good idea for hygenic purposes but also to make this seal more reliable when the humidifer chamber is slipped into the machine. Definitely worth the minor out of pocket expense.
