Magnets make daily use simple, but they’re not for everyone. The AirFit F20 uses magnetic clips to secure the lower headgear—avoid this mask if you or a bed partner has certain implants or medical devices that can be affected by magnets. Examples include pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), neurostimulators, CSF shunts, insulin/infusion pumps, aneurysm clips, flow‑disruption devices, embolic coils, stents, valves, electrodes, and some hearing devices. If you’re unsure, consult your physician or device manufacturer. Keep magnets and the clipped areas at a safe distance from susceptible implants and never modify the mask hardware.

Disassembling Your Mask

1. Pull mask elbow away from frame
2. Gently pull mask frame connector to separate frame from cushion
3. Undo velcro head straps and pull away from hollow frame

Daily Cleaning

1. Disassemble mask
2. Wipe cushion and elbow clean or wash with soap and water
3. Leave both to dry out of direct sunlight
4. Do not reassemble until mask parts are fully dry

Weekly Cleaning

1. Disassemble mask completely
2. Wash frame, elbow, cushion, and headgear in warm water with mild soap
3. Rinse each component thoroughly
4. Allow all parts to dry away from direct sunlight or heat
5. Do not reassemble mask until all parts are fully dry
