    My new Headgear

    Should have switched to this headgear and mask a long time ago. The thinner straps are so much better than my old bulky headgear. And it leaves minimal lines on my face in the morning that disappear quickly. The straps stay secured to the mask unlike my old headgear and mask.

    My Standard Mask

    Early on in my CPAP journey I tried many different mask types. The Mirage FX mask was the one that worked the best for me. It is easy to put on, it stays on well and lasts pretty long between replacements.

    Replacement Headggear

    Bought replacement headgear when original headgear became worn and kept disconnecting from the upper part of the frame - usually in the dark of night! I have kept replacement headgear (and other mask parts) on hand ever since I began using CPAP devices 28 years ago. Not a failed piece of equipment, just worn out from regular use.

    Most Comfortable Headgear

    I’ve been using a CPAP since 1994 so I have used a lot of masks with their headgear. I find the Mirage FX Headgear is the most comfortable for me for many years. The criscross back lies just at my neck and base of my head. It is small so my head does not sweat like it does with other brands. The material of the headgear is very soft and the connection material on each end holds tight. I use it with various brand face masks that have the 4 loop holes to connect.
