Sizing

Choosing your frame size 

The P30i is available in two frame sizes: small or standard. Most men are encouraged to go with the standard-sized frame. Most women and other customers with small to petite frames are encouraged to go with the small frame size. If your frame feels too tight or too loose, we suggest sizing up or down. 

Should you choose a fit pack? 

If this is your first time buying the AirFit P30i, it’s a good idea to purchase a fit pack. These packs come with multiple cushion sizes, including small, medium, and small wide. We suggest testing each cushion size included in your fit pack to ensure you choose the right one. If your mask is creating red marks or leaking air, adjust your head straps first. Then, if the problem continues, try a different cushion size. 

Should you choose an assembly kit?

 If you already own a good AirFit N30i/P30i head strap and are looking to refresh the rest of your mask, an assembly kit is a great option. Simply select your preferred cushion and frame size. Assembly kits are not available as a fit pack with multiple cushion sizes.

Compatibility

Interchangeable with the AirFit N30i

If you already own an AirFit™ N30i Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask, you can use the frame for it and simply buy a P30i cushion in your preferred size to turn it into a nasal mask. Similarly, if you wanted to try a nasal pillow mask, you could buy the N30i cushion and turn your mask into the nasal pillow version. It works both ways.

Fits the DreamWear fabric wraps

Fight the chill of cold silicone on the cheeks with fabric wraps for the DreamWear and AirFit™ P30i. These soft wraps wrap around the mask frame, both protecting you from the cool touch of the silicone and helping reduce the irritations and red marks.

Machine compatibility

The AirFit P30i CPAP mask is compatible with standard tubing and CPAP machines. However, it is not compatible on its own with the AirMini. To use this mask with the AirMini, you'll need to purchase the Zephair Universal Adapter.

Are the soft wraps removable?

No, the soft wraps are not removable. They are meant to stay on the frame and can be washed along with the frame, using the same technique you'd use on the frame.

What’s the difference between the AirFit N30i and the AirFit P30i masks?

The N30i and P30i both use the same frame, and it is interchangeable between the models. The P30i makes use of nasal pillows, while the N30i uses a nasal cushion. Otherwise, the two masks are largely identical.

What’s the difference between the AirFit P30i vs P10?

Both the AirFit P30i and P10 are nasal pillow masks. The difference between them is where the hose connects to the mask. The P30i features a top-of-head hose mount that routes airflow around the edges of the face through a hollow frame for greater freedom of movement. The P10 is a traditional-style mask where the hose connects directly in front of the face.

What’s the difference between the AirFit P30i vs dreamwear?

The DreamWear Nasal Pillow Mask and AirFit P30i both feature a top-of-head hose mount with a hollow mask frame that routes airflow around the face to a set of nasal pillows. The DreamWear mask features a slit on the front of the cushion to diffuse exhaled air, while the P30i uses a removable filtered diffuser. The P30i has a more rigid frame, allowing the mask to stay in position during position changes. While the Dreamwear Nasal mask is available in more sizes and features a softer, jelly-like frame, the P30i was designed with an accordion-like headband to make sizing and fitting easier. Finally, the DreamWear Nasal mask uses sticky-backed headgear for better traction where the P30i uses soft fabric headgear for comfort.

Where is the air vent located on the AirFit P30i?

The AirFit P30i features a QuietAir Vent at the top of the head where your CPAP hose connects to the mask. There is also a diffuser at the front of the nasal pillow, which has a removable filter for easy cleaning.

Is the AirFit P30i compatible with the Airmini?

No. The AirFit P30i is not inherently compatible with the AirMini device but can be made compatible using the Zephair AirMini Hose Adapter.

Is the AirFit P30i quiet?

The AirFit P30i operates at 21 decibels, making it about as quiet as gently rustling leaves.

Can I use a chin strap with the AirFit P30i?

    Too noisy, extremely uncomfortable and bruised nostrils

    I bought the P30i AirFit and the usage experience was terrible for me.

    Noise - due to the way it's designed, the air is coming from the top and down the dual air tubes on either side of my face. For a side sleeper like me, the airflow sound is very close to my ear and the situation is exacerbated when I sleep on my side. It's extremely loud and I have a hard time falling asleep.

    Bruised nostrils and tight fit - the nasal pillows are pressed up tightly against my nostrils leading to a bruised nose and I have a hard time getting a good night's sleep ever since I bought it. This doesn't go away no matter how I adjust the pillow mask as the nasals are practically jammed up the nostrils.

    Also, if the nasal pillow is not seated properly, it could lead to no air output which leads to me nearly suffocating as I tried to breathe in but there's no air.

    Overall it was just a terrible experience from my previous nasal pillow (forgot the brand but the design is a single tube that comes from the top of my head and down to my nose in front)

    I like the mask fit

    Unfortunately I don’t like it as well as the full mask over the nose and mouth mask.

    I think there is a 90 day warrenty that I am trying to figure out.

    Happy results

    I have tried the P30i pillow mask and found it to be wonderful. I am a side sleeper and this workis very well. Once sealed, it usually stays in place all night. I heard the air flow in the side tubes when I first put it on, but once my breathing resumed normal, didn't hear it.

    The first mask I tried that really does th job

    I have had much better results with this mask than the several others I've tried. It works perfectly with my BiPap regimen and I don't suffer any of the annoying sores and hot spots I experienced with other masks.

    Having the hose at the top is a real bonus keeping it out of the way and it's more flexible for various sleeping positions.

    The only beef I have is that it isn't perfect for side sleeping, sliding out of position sometimes and I believe that's a function of not having quite enough support built into the head gear.

    Does The Job

    I've had two of these masks

    Main complaints: 1) The adhesive of the clip in the headgear that attaches to the nasal pillow wears off and falls off over time. 2) When I remove the mask and place it down the wrong way (folded over etc. ) won't trigger the smart stop of my AirSense 10.
