Add the Sullivan Chin Strap

"I bought this mask because of the cradle cushion I can't stand the prongs in my nose. Anyway, the part that goes under your chin is worthless and keeps slipping off which allows the mask to leak. I purchased the Sullivan Chinstrap and threaded it into the mask. This has solved the problem, it doesn't slip off my chin and the leaks have stopped."

"Two weeks before I purchased the optilife I bought a different brand, I couldn't sleep and it didn't work so I ordered a optilife, the version I had before was good, but when I got this one it was new and improved, WOW I was sleeping in minuets, and I could lay on my side, or and posistion I wanted. Life saver #1 Then a day later I got a e-mail from Cpap.com, although I hadn't taken the insurance for the original mask, they wanted to work with me on getting a mask that worked, Life saver#2, where I live the answer would have been you bought it you own it, I will do ALL my c-pap buisiness here at MY comfort zone CPAP.COM"

"I purchased to replace a comfort curve that I was breaking out from the cheekpads. I have used for 1 month and am happy with the fit. I am using the pillow and does not leak. I do not have to have straps real tight to get pillow to seal resulting in a lighter feeling headgear. I am still trying to get used to the chin strap as the plastic clip lays on my jawbone and can be irritating. I do wake up in the morning with 'strap impressions' on my face from headgear straps, they have disappeared in an hour or so. I think the package should include a new 6' hose as this would not attach to the comfort curve hose. I was not aware at time of ordering that new hose was not included. All in all I am happy with this mask."

Big disapointment
June 28, 2009
(1 out of 5) by Paul M, Carlisle, PA
"I bought this hoping to get a better seal. I prefer a nasal pillow mask and have used several models for years. This one shifted all over and leaked with the slightest movement of my head. The part I liked the least was the head straps which include a chin strap that I don't need, can't remove without destabilizing the mask even more, and is irritating as well. The nose cushions proved totally worthless. They came with no clear instructions and even with 3 choices, none even fit moderately well. There are 2 nasal pillows included which almost fit, but not quite right. Of course, no nasal pillows from other masks can be substituted. My objections:
1 Unstable head straps
2 Very poor fitting nose interface
3 Noisy
4 minimal instructions
The only positive is that I bought the insurance.
If I could give a rating that took away stars, I would."

"I liked this mask from the beginning because it allows me to read (I use glasses) at nite. The only problem I have is sometimes the chin strap slips off. I also cannot use the "cradlecushion" due to pressure points, the nasal pillow sits inside my nose so there are no edges to hurt my nose."
