Individual Temperature Control Remote
The extra long Twin size ChiliPad PLS allows for cooling or heating for one user. The Remote Control allows for changes to be made to the sleeping environment during the night. It is compatible with most mattresses.
Energy Efficient
The ChiliPad Control Unit uses 80 watts of energy, about the same as a 75 watt bulb. Consider the cost savings of cooling the temperature in the bed rather than cooling an entire house.
Operation
The ChiliPad is placed on top of your existing mattress and under the bed sheets. There are no electrical components in the mattress pad. The chilled or heated water circulates through medical grade, silicone tubing in the mattress pad.
The ChiliPad Control Unit runs at a very low sound level of 20 dB offering temperatures between 46°F - 118°F. The fan runs continually during use to avoid the clicking on and off sound of a thermostat. The fan speed ramps up and down to maintain temperature accurate to within one degree of the setting. The Automatic Shut Off feature will turn off the Control Unit after 12 hours.
The lights on the keypad automatically dim after 5 seconds, reducing the ambient light in the room.
