Headgear for SleepWeaver Elan Nasal CPAP Mask
Headgear for SleepWeaver Elan Mask Overview
This is the replacement headgear for use with the SleepWeaver Elan™ Soft Cloth Nasal CPAP Mask. The replacement Tether Strap can be purchased separately and is not included with this item.
This headgear is for use only with the SleepWeaver Elan mask.
The replacement headgear for use with the SleepWeaver Advance Nasal CPAP Mask with Improved Zzzephyr Seal can be found here:2nd Generation Headgear for SleepWeaver Advance Nasal CPAP Mask.
Cleaning InstructionsCircadiance recommends using a mild, non-abrasive detergent that is not anti-bacterial to wash the SleepWeaver masks and headgear. Liquid Tide is one example of a mild, non-abrasive detergent product. However there are many other appropriate products available for use. Circadiance also suggests not to use an oil based soap when washing the SleepWeaver masks and headgear.
Hand wash the elan and headgear using warm (never hot) water and a mild, non-abrasive, non-antibacteril soap. Remove the elbow and rings before washing. After washing and rinsing, allow the mask to air dry, laying flat. Do not place the mask in the clothes dryer. The manufacturer suggests washing the elan daily and the headgear once a week.
This fits perfectly and I have been able to utilize this unit for 6 months before replacement. Highly recommend it. more...

I was a little skeptical of the new style with the stiff support in the back of the head. but I have found this works very well. more...
Head gear is comfortable, but the Velcro closures begin to fail quickly. I have actually glued additional Velcro on both lower sides because it's too expensive to replace headgear as often as needed. more...

This head gear and mask work very very well for me; the mask seems immortal but the headgear only goes about 4 months. Since Medicare replacement rules are 6 months, I occasionally buy an extra headgear because of excessive leaking once the gear begins to age. more...
